Hey! So I got the pages for my blog installed! So now you can go and look at my duct tape page if you like that more than jewelry!
Also, I went to Walgreens the other day, and they have duct tape there for about 50 cents less than Hobby Lobby or Michaels! Though you can bring coupons to those places... I got some neon pink, because I can never find pink, so I just gave in, and bought the neon.

Ask and ye shall recieve!!!
Hey guys! This has nothing to do with crafts, but I had an awesome experience today with my friend.
We live by a shopping block thing with Walgreens and Reams and stuff like that, and sometimes my friend and I walk down there just to look at stuff.
Today we thought, "Hey, I wonder what they would say if we asked if anything was free?" So I, being the brave soul, asked a lady who worked at Walgreens if they had anything free because we didn't bring money. She presented us with random little packets of Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and said "Ask and ye shall recieve!" and my friend said "Knock, and ye shall be answered!" and we left laughing!
Then we went to Rite-Aid and asked a person but she said they didn't give out freebies.
Finally we went to Reams. We asked a person if they had anything, and he said, "Yeah, we have some reusable bags at the end of aisle 8." So we thought he meant the check out aisles. There were only 7 of those, so we thought he was messing with us. He came back, and we were like, "um... there aren't any here." and he said, "No, aisle 8, not check out counter 8." So we went to aisle 8 and didn't see any reusable bags, so we started to run to the other end of the aisle, and then the guy called us back and showed us the bags. They had cereal icons on them like Tony the Tiger and the Toucan from Froot Loops. They aren't that strong, but it was free!
So ask for things. Things that seem propostorus. Things that you think you'll never get. Ask and you might, just might recieve!

Amazingness!!!
Sorry I haven't posted for awhile. School and friends have been busy.
Anyway, I got a box of over 70 blocks of clay today! My CTE teacher found out that I had talent in the polymer clay area, and he had a huge box from a garage sale! The blocks are old and hard but I can fix that! Mostly... They're all unopened!
The reason I said mostly is there are some blocks that just crumble. Like sand. It just collapses, and no matter how much you condition it falls apart.
But there are some blocks that are great! I got different brands. Such as:
Sculpey lll
Fimo Classic
Fimo Soft
Poly Clay
and some others that MIGHT be Sculpey one.
He also gave me a great pasta machine! It still works great!
He gave me some books and magazines with ideas too!
He gave me a little bottle of Glaze, and a baking pan to bake creations on!
He never used any of this, so it's all never been used! It's really old though, and I need to find out what to do with the crumbly, beyond help clay.
He wants me to make him some pens with it. He will turn it in to a pen, but he wants the right structure to make it.
The box over all was worth over 200 dollars! I'm exited!
Also, I lost Allison's Wallets contest, but she subscribed to me giving me the 20 subscribers I wanted!
Thanks so much for reading, I'll try to post more often!

Some new stuff!
Hey, so I've been working on lots of new stuff! I've done some bows which are to the right, as the piece of the week, and I've been doing some waffle cone ice creams which will be up next week, and I made some smore's for my friend for her half birthday. I sadly don't have pictures of those though.
I've been working a lot on my Allison's Wallets contest entry which must be food related. I'm doing Hershey's, and it still has some work that needs to be done. I'll post a picture of that when it's done.
Also! For those of you that have a Robert's nearby, you can go to 'Ladies Night Out' this Saturday which is tomorrow night starting at 6:00 P.M. I think. They have little crafts you can make and take for free! They also have fun things like contests and things. At least where I live.
So have fun crafting!

A Career Is Born
A few months ago, on September 26th, 2010 when a YouTube user, SoCraftastic posted a video called "101 Polymer Clay Cupcakes! [[Sculpey Charms Collection // Creations.]]"
This started my inspiration with Polymer clay and got me into creating jewelry and charms! I went to Michaels and got three starter blocks. Lavender, dark purple, and brown. I started to make cupcakes non-stop! My first cupcake was a total fail, of course, but the second turned out a bit better , and I have been progressing ever since. It's been interesting to see how my work and style has changed over time. I got more colors like white, blue, green, yellow, tan, black, red and lots of others. I realized that the world of clay isn't just cupcakes, and that I needed to expand my reach. I next tried roses, bows, pies, and cakes.
The holiday season was coming up next, and I made wreaths, presents, and Christmas trees.
Through this adventure, I have been kept posted to SoCraftastic. She strayed onto wire, metal and beads, so I decided to follow her. I started into wire crafting and beads as well, and got great results! Then I realized that I could combine my passions. A billion more possibilities opened up. She then journeyed to the foreign land of duct tape.
I had never been there. I had no clue what I was up against. I decided to climb this mountain as well, completely ignorant to this new world. My first roll was purple, and then I realized that packing tape was very important too. I next got blue and white and other colors as well, and am now into making wallets with different designs though I'm still trying to master the tri-fold.
This didn't distract from my jewelry at all, and my creativity expanded to tarts, and trying to under stand Liquid Sculpey (Clear liquid clay) I've also started with fruit, like strawberries.
I think I've come far for starting six months ago, and I plan to grow more.
If you think you can do it. Do it.
